Nikki was wonderful. She explained all the options available in restoration. Gave good advice about the level of repair to retaining as much original glass and lead as possible. The window is now very stable and less of a draught. Thank you for your prompt attention and hard work.

Thank you so much for the excellent work - the restored window is beautiful and the results exceeded my expectations.  You have done such a professional job both in restoring the stained glass panels and working with the Carpenter to refit them in to the original frame work.  The whole project ran so smoothly under your management.

I emailed Nikki to ask whether she might be willing to have a look at one of our leaded light windows which had a few broken panes and needed a bit of TLC.

Nikki was quick to reply and asked me to send some photos to get an idea of what state they were in etc. We then arranged for her to visit to have a better look and throughout the whole process she was very honest about the risks of carrying out this fairly fragile work.
Nikki was able to carry out the work the same day and was very happy to work in the back garden listening to her radio. She was very pleasant and worked very carefully, clearly enjoying her work. The standard of work is excellent and our very old window has now been restored to its original state with beautiful old glass.

I would not hesitate to ask Nikki to work for me again and would recommend her to anyone requiring this type of specialist work.
Thank you – (Grade 2)

I am delighted to provide this Testimonials for Nikki Browne.

Nikki was commissioned to repair the windows at the Old Post Office, Wetheringsett in September 2014. She made a very professional assessment of the state of the windows and also provided a report on two windows, which had passed their life and required listed building consent for replacement.

Nikki took a careful approach to the conservation and repair of the windows. She was open and honest about the risks associated with attempting repair of fragile structures and was clear about what she was prepared to do and not do. She was also willing to experiment and this paid dividends in that some windows, which were thought to be beyond repair, have now an extended life.

Nikki is careful and systematic in her work. She does not rush what needs to be done carefully. Equally she does not waste time. Every minute of her day is used effectively. She is a pleasure to have around, respectful and mindful of being in someone else's home. She is neat, tidy and thoughtful.

The standard of Nikki's work is excellent. The windows are now stable and draft free, they remain in keeping with the building and will last many more years before a full replacement is required.

Nikki's professionalism is outstanding and her sensitivity to buildings and what they require is both remarkable and unusual. She is also animal friendly and accommodates the vagaries of daily life with good grace.

I have no hesitation in recommending Nikki for her excellent work and as a trusted professional person.

Nikki did a fantastic job on the two panels of stained glass that we bought to hang in a large window. She attached hooks, cleaned it up and put a patina on the lead work of the newer one. They now look amazing! Nikki did a lovely job and was great to work with!
